Charis is a Pilates and Dance Instructor, Choreographer as well as a Performer. She discovered Pilates when she was searching for ways to improve her quality of movement in dance and managing her knees and hip injury. Since then, she
never looked back and continues to develop her skills by attending instructor training and workshops regularly.
Charis finds fulfilment in helping dancers condition their bodies as a way to improve their performance and prevent injuries. She also enjoys teaching working adults ways to improve their postures so as to tackle any aches and pain caused by their long hours of sitting in the office.
Charis is Polestar Pilates Studio Comprehensive certified and Stott Mat trained, has a Diploma in Sport Science, and is a MOE Registered Instructor. She currently teaches Pilates classes at Sky Pilates and hopes to spread her love for Pilates and Movement so that many others can experience its benefits for themselves.
