Leticia stared practising Pilates about 10 years ago aiming to manage her chronic and upper back pain due to scoliosis, associated with poor posture from spending too many hours working on the computer.

Pilates has improved her body awareness, alignment and breathing for functional activities and has helped her with her pain management, improved her posture and balance the muscles strength. Pilates has also played an important role to keep her energized and pain free during and after her pregnancy.

She enjoys sharing her passion to individuals who seek to improve their posture and strength by applying more efficient movement techniques and a better connection between their body and mind.

Leticia is Polestar Pilates Studio Comprehensive certified,  and has attended courses and workshops worldwide to enhance her skills, such as:

  • OOV  Fundamentals and Level 1 course, with Daniel Vladetta;
  • Pilates for Scoliosis course with Karena Thek, director of ScolioPilates;
  • Prenatal, postal and Diastasis Recti online workshops with Marla Lopes, Director of L’Équilibre Fisioterapia e Pilates;
  • The Center Methodâ„¢ for Diastasis Recti online course, with Carolyne Anthony, director of The Center for Women’s Fitness;
  • Stick Mobility Level 1 online course with Nat Amar, Mind Body Heart.
